Cocktail Classes That Are More Party Than Classroom

Hands-on mixology experiences for groups of all sizes — no experience required, just a good attitude and a thirst for something new.

Book Your Experience

CocktailWorks brings the bar to you — whether you're planning a bachelorette party, a corporate team-builder, a birthday celebration, or just a fun night in with friends. Every experience is led by a certified bartending professional with over two decades behind the bar.

Choose from two formats: the CocktailWorks Clinic, a demonstration-style experience where your guests watch, learn, and sip, or the full Mixology Experience, where everyone gets hands-on at their own station.

CocktailWorks Clinic demonstration
Format One

CocktailWorks Clinic

A guided cocktail demonstration where your guests watch, learn, and enjoy. The instructor crafts two featured cocktails in front of the group, explaining techniques, ingredients, and the stories behind each drink.

Ideal for larger groups or venues where individual stations aren't practical.

  • Two featured cocktail demonstrations
  • Cocktail history and ingredient education
  • Professional preparation and service
  • Up to two cocktail servings per guest
  • Prepared mixers, syrups, juices, and other nonalcoholic ingredients
  • Fresh fruit and garnishes
  • Ice
  • Disposable drinkware and cocktail napkins
  • Cocktail tools and service equipment
  • Setup and cleanup of CocktailWorks equipment
  • A customised alcohol shopping list

Starting at $395 for up to 10 guests

Additional guests are $25 each.

CocktailWorks Mixology Experience hands-on
Format Two

Mixology Experience

Everyone gets behind the bar! The CocktailWorks Mixology Experience puts every guest in the action. Each participant receives an individual cocktail-making station and follows along with a professional instructor to create two featured cocktails. Guests learn how to properly measure, shake, stir, balance, and garnish their drinks while enjoying a lively and social group experience.

This is the whole CocktailWorks experience, complete with professional tools, prepared ingredients, individual instruction, and plenty of hands-on cocktail fun.

  • An individual mixing station for every guest
  • Two featured cocktails
  • Step-by-step demonstrations and instruction
  • Cocktail shakers, jiggers, bar spoons, and other tools
  • Prepared mixers, syrups, juices, and ingredients
  • Fresh fruit and garnishes
  • Ice
  • Disposable drinkware and cocktail napkins
  • Printed cocktail recipes
  • Setup and cleanup of CocktailWorks equipment
  • A customised alcohol shopping list

Starting at $595 for up to 10 guests

Additional guests are $35 each.

Which Experience Is Right for You?

The CocktailWorks Clinic is a sit-back-and-enjoy format — your instructor does the mixing while guests watch, taste, and learn. Great for larger groups or when you want a polished, presentation-style experience.

The Mixology Experience puts shakers in everyone's hands. Guests work at their own stations, follow along with the instructor, and build real cocktails from scratch. More interactive, more laughs, and everyone goes home with a new skill.

What the Host Provides

CocktailWorks brings everything — tools, ingredients, drinkware, setup, and cleanup. The only thing the host needs to provide is the spirits.

  • Spirits (based on the chosen cocktail recipes)

A customised alcohol shopping list is included with every booking so you know exactly what to pick up.

Group Sizes

Both experiences are priced for up to 10 guests, with per-person add-on pricing for larger groups. Have something bigger in mind? Reach out — we'll find a format that works.

Meet Your Instructor

Mark Woods — TikiTender

Mark's hospitality career began in 1996, but it was behind the bar at Henry's poolside tiki bar in 2004 that he first earned the nickname that stuck: TikiTender. He later spent nearly a decade as a lead bartender at the Golden Lion Café, co-owned the Humidor cigar bar and lounge (now Ash & Ale) from 2013 to 2022, and founded Fun Coast Bartending in 2012. Safe to say the man knows his way around flavour.

As a CocktailWorks instructor, Mark brings that same mix of craft and personality to every class. He wants guests to understand what they're drinking and why the techniques work — but he never wants it to feel like a lecture. Expect storytelling, a few laughs, and a genuine passion for the craft. Since founding Fun Coast, he's been part of nearly 3,000 celebrations throughout Northeast Florida.

No previous cocktail experience is needed. CocktailWorks is more party than classroom, but everyone leaves having learned something real — and excited to recreate a favourite drink at home.
