Fun Coast Bartending was founded in 2012 on the belief that every event deserves professional, dependable bar service. What started as a small operation on Florida's Fun Coast has grown into a trusted team that has served nearly 3,000 events — from intimate backyard parties to large public celebrations.
We're proud to be locally rooted, community-minded, and committed to making every guest feel welcome. Our team brings experience, preparation, and genuine hospitality to every event we serve.
Based in Palm Coast, we serve Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Deltona, St. Augustine, and all areas throughout Flagler & Volusia Counties.
Fun Coast What?
The story behind our name — and why it was always going to be this.
People often ask us how we chose the name Fun Coast Bartending. The answer lies partly in something as simple as our area code.
For decades, Florida's Chambers of Commerce have branded stretches of coastline with catchy names to draw travelers: the Space Coast, Treasure Coast, First Coast, Gold Coast, Emerald Coast. Our stretch of shoreline is no exception.
Fun Coast Bartending was born in Flagler Beach, Florida, just a short drive north of Daytona Beach — famously dubbed the World's Most Famous Beach. In the 1970s, Volusia and Flagler counties were marketed as the Surf Coast. That name eventually faded, replaced with the more generic Halifax Area (named after the Halifax River).
By the 1990s, local promoters began rallying around a new label: Florida's Fun Coast. At that time, our region still shared the 904 area code with Jacksonville and St. Augustine. But as the population grew, the area needed its own code. The Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce successfully lobbied for 386 — because on a touchtone phone, 386 spells FUN.

On a touchtone phone, 386 spells FUN — and the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce made sure we got it.
Our founder, Mark, was working in hotels back then and thought it was a brilliant marketing tool — easy to remember and perfectly on brand for the area.
"Of course, some jokesters pointed out that 386 also spells DUM — but we've always preferred FUN."
So when it came time to launch a bartending company, the name was obvious: Fun Coast Bartending. It identifies where we're from, carries the spirit of our region, and puts FUN right in the title.
Because at the end of the day — who doesn't want a fun bartender at their event?
